squirtgun 122 Report post Posted March 5, 2008 When we do commercial concrete we downstream all of our chems.A couple of weeks ago we lost out hot water capablities when using the downstreamer. I can apply chems then switch over to the sufae cleaner or wands and the hot water kicks back in.I adjusted the flow switch last week and had hot wtater while downstreaming, but it has stopped again. Is it time for yet another flow switch or am I missing something else?
Doug T 19 Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Scott, Sounds like you have a Pressure switch controlling the burner and not a flow switch. If so I'd change it to a flow switch, either way sounds like it is bad.
MMI Enterprises 289 Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Make sure the little reed/magnet thingy(or whatever it is..lol) is not moving and is clamped down. Vibration changes worked mine loose to where just the slightest change in machine running would not let it make the circuit.
douseahouse 21 Report post Posted March 6, 2008 it's easier to just replace it then try to keep troubleshooting it since it is an intermittent problem. bob sells them and i believe they are less or around $20. mine busted during the winter and was a piece of cake to replace. check the reed switch as mentioned, it can move around. rando
