Semi Solid deck, How to?

Question

Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I have this huge deck that has a semi solid redish stain, last time it got stained was 18 months ago. I have two questions.

1. If I just wanted to clean it "get rid of green mold and black spots", what should I clean it with. "Please dont use any abrevations of any chemicals or bleaches, I am not familar with the lingo, and be specific with the ratio of chemicals to use?"

2. If I wanted to remove the stain "strip it" what process should I take and what chemicals should I use?

I have a x-jet, let me know if I can use it to downstream the chemicals.

1. Sodium Hypochlorite-1.5% + a little surfactant if ya like (ph neutral car wash or such), soak 10-30 min. or so, rinse off with garden hose or pressure washer with low tips......test a section first to see if stain comes off at enough strength to rid the mold. Water plants before and after real well..

2. Depends on brand but generally Sodium Hydroxide based strippers such as HD80.

Check somewhere like theprosealerstore vendor for that.. http://theprosealerstore.com/HD80.htm
