Off D Wall 14 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 I got a 200gal tank that i have been using to p/w on job that water was not available. I am instaling delevan 5800 series pump for roof cleaning and thinking of dedicating this tank for the apple sauce. right now my plumbing is set whit a 2way T ball valve ,got 4ft poly hose on one side to rinse my hand if needed ,and other side got h2o suply hose to p/w whit a quick connect for easy switch from customer h2o or from tank . QUESTION SHOULD I PUMP MY SAUCE FROM EXISTING SET-UP BY JUST ADDING A Q/C FEMALE @ PUMP INLET OR DRILL HOLE ON TOP OF TANK AND INSTALL PIPE AND PUMP FROM THE TOP??????? I WILL WAIT TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS BEFORE I START DRILLING HOLES..
PWkid 79 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 My opinion is to get another tank just for chlorine.
Cajun Cleanin 64 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 It seems like a mighty big tank just dedicated to roof cleaning, I only use about 50 to 60 gls on a roof.If you have the room on your rig go for it if not get a smaller tank for the sauce. If you do use it I like the pipe from the top instead of the side.
big mike 14 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 We use a 55 gal plastic barrel and pull from the top. Any fittings or bulkheads will eventually leak, and that can get ugly in a hurry.
