Prep for paint?

Question

When preping a house to be painted is it suggested to use a rinse aid or will that inhibit the bonding of the paint to the old surface?

Also, what are some of you using to wash houses that are to be painted? Anyone use Envirospecs Prepezz?

Is there anything else that kills mildew as well as bleach?

Thanks,

Steve

You are right about household bleach. However, you will spend more money using the bleach than using pool chlorine. If you are making a house wash especially if you are using a commercial grade soap than you have your surfactants right there.

Here in NJ it cost me $1.00 a gal for pool chlorine. That is what I use in my house wash. A gal. of bleach is also $1.00 but I would need 2 Gal. for my mix. Thats double the cost than using pool grade chlorine.

This was just a thought.
