This deck in Clearwater is 10 years old and had failing Defy. (it hadnt been restained since the initial time.) Under the roof it was still in fine shape and needed some extra HD80 to remove it. Up until last year it was completely covered by a large tree, so the Defy had continued to offer some protection.
I used Wood Tux and tinted to Amaretto.
( Im not familiar with Defy so I wouldnt re-coat with it, But I may look into it as it held up pretty well from the initial Home owner application.)
You rarely see adeck like this in florida. It was built by Dean Collins at Collins Construction.
Very few contractors will take the time to do a nice one like this so I need to give him Props.
