chem to clean painted tin barn walls

Recommended Posts

Hey, Mark Topper from Premium Power Wash. Located in Canada about 5 minutes from the Washington border crossing. I am wondering what would be the best chem to use to clean painted tin walls on chicken barns. They are covered and baked on by the sun with dust, algae, mold mildew. Is there an acid that is safe on tin / painted tin that could literally melt away this caked and baked grime? Or anything that could loosen it and soften it greatly to allow very easy rinsing to remove ?

Whenever I clean a painted metal I use Emulsifier plus or Premier. I found them to work great on mold and mildew as well as removing built up oxidation on the surface. If the mold and mildew are bad you can add bleach to it to kill it. If the buildup is real bad keep the surface wet longer and give it the dwell time to soften the buildup this will make your job easier and faster.
