ratio question

Question

I'm in process of incorparating the X-Jet into my house washing set up. I have heard others say that they are using 50' of chem hose which is what I am planning to use. My question is how will this (if at all) effect my ratio without the proportioners. At 4 GPM the water chem ratio is about 1.6:1 will the 50' of hose effect this ratio at all and if so how much?

It will not effect it at all. Just dont go any longer with the hose. I feel that will effect the ratio if you do go longer.

What is your housewash mix?

Dale,

Thanks for the responce. My housewash mix is 2 parts 12% and 1 part Emulsifier Plus. I am not planning to use the proportioners instead I will just dillute the mix. How much do you think I shoud dillute with a 1.6 : 1 water to chem ratio?

If you are putting this inta a five gallon bucket I would try to fill the rest up with water and try it out.

I use half gal. of citracleen, 1-2 gallons of 12.5 chlorine(depends on how bad the house is) some wet wax, rinse aid and some foamer into a five gllon bucket and fill the rest with water. I do however put my house wash into a 30 gallon drum mounted on a hand cart instead of carry around the fives around the house.:)
