What is a pool hose. Is it a hose that is usedaround pools to prevent water spills. If so, do people fill them up with water or sand? Can I lie this across driveways /walkways to contain water? Lastly, should I use a shop vac or a small sump pump to pump water onto lawn. And can I power a sump with a battery or do I need electricity?

Eric, You can lay that pool hose across there but i do not think it will work very well. Also, you can use a shop vac or a sump pump. The problem is why in the world would you pump it on the lawn. If you do that you are positively going to kill the grass there. You will need to pump that in a tank on your trailer or 55 gallan drum, or if you are doing comercial in theere sewage line. I would not pump that water back on to anyones lawn.

if you are not using chems you would be ok...but as travis says if you are you might be better to keep it off the lawn...
