black plastic shutters

I think I will be washing a house with black plastic shutters on it. Will my regular house wash mix (which hits teh house at less than 1% chlorine) hurt or fade them? Ill probably do a little test spot.

Just make sure you rinse well, especially if the suns is hitting it...:)

I'd be more worried about water spots or a good rinse job than fading.

If the shutters are already a little dulled from the sun, the house wash mix can make it a little more noticeable. The best way to prevent any problems is to rinse them immediately after applying the chem to that section of house. I usually hit them with some water right after applying my solution while rinsing down the landscaping.
