dray5mil 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 Hi all, I recently purchased a new machine that is setup for downstreaming. The ratio on the injector is 7:1. I normally use outdoor bleach which i've been told is 7% sh. Should 7:1 be strong enough using outdoor bleach to kill mold, mildew etc.? Asking this because i'm having to go back and spray some by hand to do a good job. I haven't tested what the actual ratio is. I'll be doing that today. Maybe I'm not letting the chem dwell long enough. (my mix in a 5 gal bucket is 3 gal outdoor bleach and 1 gal simple green.) Thanks for any input.

Stay away from it.
John T 744 Report post Posted May 8, 2010 We use 12.5% Sodium Hypochorite mixed with a couple of surfacant soaps and we Xjet it where it comes out almost as strong as Bleach by itself. WE Rinse rinse rinse and then rinse again. The houses clean up fast but I have two guys doing this together all the time so nothing gets killed. When done our houses are blindingly cleaned but its a risk to clean like the way we do because you have to keep everything extremely wet and then wet again.
