Better MPG for your pressure washer

Recommended Posts

Learned something new yesterday that I had not heard of.

Tuesday all was well or so I thought. Yesterday I get to the site and attempt to start washing and after 30 seconds I lose most of my pressure. I could not figure out what the problem was so I disconnected the hoses and headed to the PW shop 5 miles away.

We used their hoses and when he released the trigger gun the pressure hose blew..... Unloader problem.

Replaced the unloader and WOW what a difference in performance.

I also noticed better MPG (Minutes per gallon) on the fuel consumption.

I think I will now be changing this every year to prevent any breakdowns or loss of performance.

This is why I keep saying.. "respect the tech"..

you need the tech to show you the "tricks of the trade"..

You won't get them for free, but you will benefit from the knowledge,

and you'll be able to stay focussed on "cleaning for profit"

Find a tech that "talks alot" about technical details,

and pay him for his time.

Your weakest competitor is one that "guesses" though his work.

your strongest competitor has a working relationship with at least 1 technical guy.

..and he probably goes to the roundtable meetings. Eh?
