cleaning oil stains off an interlocking paver stone driveway

Recommended Posts

interlocking stone driveway. Has heavy oil and transmission oil stains. What's everyone recommend to clean this mess up? I need something strong. I'm also planning on putting a high gloss "wet look" sealant on it after.

wow the manufacture is right around the corner from me. Does this work well for old stains? Will I be ok with a cold pressure washer or should I rent a hot one?

Also what does everyone recommend for sealing it?

Yes BT200 will work great on old stains on pavers aswell, not so much on concrete though. Cold water pressure washer will do just fine.

For the paver sealing contact Southern Stain and Seal in the US phone number (615) 604-5115 ask for david if he does not answer super nice and very smart guy. Everyone that uses his products are very happy with them.

Good Luck and remember to take before and after pics.

Yes it work well for old stains as well, (unless it is synthetic oil) but older stains may take a couple applications. Also it DOES work great on concrete too. Only concrete it does not work well on that I have found is sealed. Sometimes a little harder on smooth concrete too like in some parking garages. As long as it is a porous surface it works great. Cold water is fine. Just remeber you ahve to let the product sit for at least 30-45 minutes or longer. When you call eatoils ask for Charles and he can answer ALL your questions. He is very knowledgeable about removing oil, gasolins, hydro carbons, etc.
