About 10 years ago, I worked part time "really learning" using this product [Woodmate One-Coat or Woodmate VP]. Water-based /ACROIL technology. See Picture.
All I can say is (incredible results and durability...wow)! The owner 'at the time' said it was manufactured in Canada. Well, it stood up to some really harsh conditions in KS (100+ down to -20 °F). After 5-6 yrs, it was time to do it all again with those clients. Well, the owner I worked for moved on but I recall his primary work was with log home restoration.
So, I did research around log home products and the possibility that they might have something like it. I went with Permachink after trying many --- great product but didn’t meet the high standards of some of the home owners.
So, here I am after using what many consider "including me" the best products available out there…digging for an old friend. Woodmate, where are you?
If anyone knows where I might be able to procure, please advise.
