Chad A 14 Report post Posted February 5, 2012 I acquired a Whitco 5030 Dpo today. I am familiar with desiel engines but I am concern about this D600 Kubota All the detriots and cats and yanmar I have worked on all have timers for the glow plugs. The control station on this Whitco does not. I have traced the wires from the swtch to the glow plugs they are constantly on while the engine is running. Correct me if I am wrong but they should only be on for 30 to 60 seconds and then they turn off and the combustion chamber keeps them hot correct. Thanks in advance.
