Chappy 138 Report post Posted February 7, 2012 How hard would it be to make my own dual turbo nozzle? would a wand and a t work? The ones Ive seen are welded with more of u than a T. But with few exceptions, no distributer carries them, good distributers anyway. I dont trust northern tools stuff. what would be the problems you would foresee? If you ran 8gpm at 4000 psi, two 4s rated at 3000 would suffice, right?
mick m 19 Report post Posted February 8, 2012 Hi Chappy. The reason there made with a bend as opposed to 90* corners is that water flows faster round a bend than a corner. I had a try of one a couple of years ago. After about 3 minutes my fingers were tingling like hell. They vibrate something shocking.
Chappy 138 Report post Posted February 8, 2012 well, used to the vibration of one, how much more could a double be? qeustion is do they last? or is the vibration going to cause it to fail quickly?
mick m 19 Report post Posted February 9, 2012 well, used to the vibration of one, how much more could a double be? qeustion is do they last? or is the vibration going to cause it to fail quickly? I think if anything is going to fail, it will be the welds. And as for how much worse the vibration could be, it's more of a shake. your hands will feel like you got a severe case of pins & needles. If you tap your finger tips together, they will sting!
