I want to become a wood man

Question

Hello and Happy New Year to all, I’m sitting here at my desk thinking. What do I need to do to increase my sales? I was told to add fence and deck restoration (clean stain seal) to my house washing service. I don’t have the first clue on what to purchase to even start this type of service. Well I did a little research on a few things like what tools do I need what chemicals to buy that work well the first time and how much to charger (buy the job or by the foot) I looked at a nice Graco airless paint sprayer (ES190) a 25 gallon chemical tank with a shur flo pump attachment. Will a wood certification give me the necessary knowledge to be wood restoration savvy? Are there any other tools I made need?

Thanks

Daryl

Daryl,

Research is a wonderful way to begin. Search and study online, ask questions, and absorb. If you have the capital to do it now, consider the PWNA's Wood Certification Program.

If we can be of any help at all, we're here for you.

Beth
