Driveway stains

Question

Landed a job today with a customer who wants driveway washed. The driveway is only 8 months old but it has mud stains from the consrtuction and brown stains from fertilizer they dropped when spreading a couple months ago. I believe the brown is from the iron in the fertilizer, and I think I can remove it with some acid (aliminum brightener). Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

bleach does for the leaf stains but I've experienced, from my own property, that the fetilizer stains go away on their own. They look nasty and rust like but within a couple of weeks they're gone and it's like nothing every happened.

Maybe the water, from the sprinklers, dilutes it.

Any iron based stain will need acid to reduce it. I don't know what's in your alum brightener. I'd start with Oxalic and get stronger in steps from there.
