Foam Cannon?

I have read about people using this and said it was great for washing houses and mobile homes.

What is it,how does it work and how do you hook it up?Haven't started up yet(personal reasons) but we are going to get a x-jet,does that quick connect on to the wand?Never used one before.

i to have been wondering about these foamers. i saw one on the cleaner network, but you have to have air to make them work. is there one that does not operate with air?i also saw some at lafferty equipment on the net. called them up on the phoneand talked to a real helpful man named alex. he is trying to come up with something that will throw foam up forty feet that will work for pressure washing.if anyone knows more about this subject please chime inn. thanks in advance. dennis
