x-jet/blockage question

Question

When you mess up and get some sand in the supply line because you dis-connected it to rinse. Then the sand get's stuck in the orfice and you now have 3000 psi built up in the line's and all quick dis-connect's. Where do you relieve the pressure SAFELY?

Ron on mine I would use my ball valve but you didnt mention one so I guess your going to be in for a ride. I would suggest a ball valve connected on the end of your hose so that in the future you can just turn the valve and disconnect. Another thing you might try is to disconnect the water supply line and let it sit overnight it may relieve some of the pressure if your lucky.:D

even with a ball valve, the pressure is still stuck in the wand.

Also, cant stop in the middle of the job.

I was lucky and has 1 twist type quick connect and just lost the O ring. This post was more to help other's.
