0 steve r 14 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Ive used citrus to clean composite .make sure ya check a little area to see if it dont stain .you shouldnt have a problem though.and use a 40 degree tipand stay back from the composite .if you dont it will leave marks .if its a big area you can try the surface cleaner .just keep it moving .if you can use just water its better to rinse .the pressure is last resort.some times bleach works also.to kill the green . 0 John Orr 206 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Downstreaming 12.5%, followed by a VERY (2-300 psi)low-pressure rinse usually takes care of it. I have done warranty for Trex, and the cleaners they recommend instruct you to add bleach (50/50 mix) followed by the application of a sealer - which smelled like old fashioned floor wax.
