PLD 14 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 Moven from thread of building washing. U could use a carpet cleaning van very easily, that is what I do during the day, and it is pto, I will take some pics of the cat pump and the pulleys. The truck is responsible for the vacum, heat, and pressure. The throttle is controled by vacum, I will take some pics of it also. I have been thinking of this same thing for a while. Please do. I'd love to see how it works. Is the PTO energy transfer hydraulic or physical? My mouth is already watering at the thought of only buying a pump and a belt to go from 5.6->11.2gpm. Does anyone know the capability of the typical skid burner to heat larger volumes of water? By that I mean what's it's upper limit for volume AND heat. Please tell me that they are actually rated for 10gpm and I can just hook up another pump w/o buying another burner...
Russ Johnson 141 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 Philip, if the burner is 120 volt, a larger fuel nozzle, air cone, etc. can be installed to obtain more heat. If it's 12 volt, forget it.
PLD 14 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 It's 12v. Any idea what the specs are for the stock burner on an APW liberty?
