Vertical hot box ???

Has anybody tried laying a vertical hot box down horizontal? I would like to mount my hot box on top of my pressure washers frame. I have a welder that could easly do this project for me but i don't know if the internals are the same for both vertical and horizontals.

I have two hot box units for 8 gpm. They are taller than your usual 5 gpm. and the welds that hold the coils in place keep breaking. I stopped using both burners for safty reasons. What if a 400 lb. coil came off my trailer at 65 mph? Yea, it's a scary thought. Anyways, niether ones doing me anygood just sitting around, so i have to either weld some L brackits to the outside stainless steal and then bolt it to the base, or just lay them flat. I would appriciate any input from someone who knows alot about the internals and design of both types of hot boxes.

I have done that very thing. Set up a hot box to work in a pickup with a topper. Modified the frame, moved the fuel tank, and laid 'er down. No problems at all.
