jnoden 15 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 Can sodium hydroxide be mixed with sodium percarbonate? I was thining that if the two are compatible then a mixture of percarb with a little sodium hydroxide would make a stronger wood cleaner and could kill heavy mildew better. Beth n Rod 1,279 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 That is essentially what efc-38 does. Instead of sodium hydroxide, it is sodium metasilicate mixed with the percarbonate. (according to the msds) Rod!~
