Sodium percarb and sodium hydroxide

Can sodium hydroxide be mixed with sodium percarbonate? I was thining that if the two are compatible then a mixture of percarb with a little sodium hydroxide would make a stronger wood cleaner and could kill heavy mildew better.

That is essentially what efc-38 does. Instead of sodium hydroxide, it is sodium metasilicate mixed with the percarbonate. (according to the msds)

Believe me,there is really no need to mix those 2 .

I do it! Carpet cleaners do it! The 2 are compatible and work fine together!
