All you are doing is writing the detailed description of the work and the sqft. you come up with. eads 14 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Im new to the bidding process. Ive been doing some research and found that some people have detailed estimates. more than just sqft. Cover letter, detailed measurement (spindles, rails, steps, etc.), restoration process, color selections, etc. I figured customers would like to see these type of things to have a better understanding of the price and service that they are getting.
