F18 MAx For Cleaning (not stripping) a Deck?

Question

Whadya' think? I've heard its great for stripping failing finishes, but what about taking on an old,grayed out redood deck w/ no apparant pre-existing finish? Too Strong? Any other recomendations?

I i know stripper would work to clean a grey deck with no problems at all but yeah it's a bit strong especially for redwood.

I would use a bleach/soap solution to kill that dead grey wood the use a brightner after you have rinsed off real well.

If you could do test spots and see how the wood reacts would help you.

I suggest you use a percarb for that...

If you use the F-18 Max or the F-18 F-18, and cut the strength back to about 2 oz to the gallon. For a SH (F-18 Max, HD-80, or Timberstrip Pro) based product we generally can use it at about that range with a shorter dwell time to do what you are thinking of.
