steffysmom 14 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 Purchased a moisture meter--hasn't arrived yet--have a homeowner who is anxious to have deck stained. Cleaned the deck about 10 days ago, haven't had any rain since. I know that Ready Seal recommends that the moisture content is 12 % or less--do you think that the wood is dry enough to stain yet since is has been a while since I cleaned it and no rain recently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PressurePros 249 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 That deck is probably in the single digits by now.. Three days dry time is plenty if the deck gets decent sun.
