tedg 14 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 I used to work at S***MAXX. The experience was bad for me, and DISASTROUS for many of the customers. The work is sloppy. The appliers work on commission. (Work fast/get to the next one!) No one cares about a complaint unless there's a threat of a lawsuit, or a call to The Attorney General's office. MANY nice people,,,,,hard working people,,,,paid about 2-3 times what a DECENT company would have charged to do a deck, and 8-10 months later the phone started ringing off the hook with irate calls. After they have the cutomer's money, it's pretty much a "Let 'em holler. IF they holler enough, MAYBE we'll do something" attitude. As a business, they're close to bankrupt.
