Sustainable Green Home with Ipe and Mahogany...

This job was truly cool....way cool. The house is a major rebuild and is a sustainable "green" home. All the materials from the old home were donated to www.secondchanceinc.org . The new home boasts features that are all environmentally friendly and is just beautiful. The owner is a Realtor who built this with her husband, and went so far as to get her general contractors license and hire all the trades herself to work on the home. It is truly a marvel to walk through!!!

We were hired to clean and seal her newly built ipe deck and screened porch with a mahogany ceiling. Her husband built the deck and porch. It is marvelous.

Here are a few shots. They simply do not do this home justice, as there is so much to it on the inside as well. This home is due to be featured in The Washington Post this fall. We are thrilled to have been a part of this project. What a cool home!
