grizzley 14 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 The gasoline tank stops feeding the engine once it is half full. Once I fill it up again she purrrs like new. Possible that there is a tiny hole in the tube inside the tank? Or maybe something else?
Doug T 19 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 Without knowing what kind of rig you are running...sounds to me like your vent hole is plugged.

Doug T 19 Report post Posted July 18, 2006 If it does it again, try taking the fuel cap off put it back on and see if it then runs. If it does the vent hole in the cap is plugged. As you use up fuel no air is getting in, creating a vacuum, and the fuel pump cannot overcome it. happened to me once
Ron Musgraves 240 Report post Posted July 18, 2006 Bingo...........................Sometimes you even have to pull a plug because it vapor locks. Get a new vented cap
