Hot Water Coil Leaking

My hot water coil on my pw is leaking. Is it possible to have it welded up or has anyone ever tried this or had luck doing this? I don't really want to invest in new coil right now.

I know people that have had them welded when the leak was acessible. One lasted for years and the other didnt last long at all. I would try welding it first. Coils are pricey!

Depending on how much coil is left (rusted out) and location you may be able to save it. If you have been running chemicals through it the coil might be thin and I would reccommend replaceing it. Better to do the job right one time instead of twice, down time is a killer.
