This was Monday and Tuesday's project. Cleaned and masked Monday, detailed and stained Tuesday. 18 man hours. Ladder access only to top deck. Two more incredibly hot days here. At one point I was on a 10' step ladder rubbing mineral spirits (with respirator) cleaning ceiling fan conduit up in the eve in the screened in enclosure...eyes burning like hell and a little to close to the wrong kind of buzz.
The homeowners called me yesterday to tell me just how beautifully this is mellowing. They wanted their new porch/deck to match the hardwood oak floors inside. Custom tinted beautifully. The tints are incredibly simple. The T1-11 paneling got two light coats. I was concerned it would be too light to compliment the other PT woods going on on the porch. Lots of hand brushing on this one. Good pay day. I love this s**t!
