john@AEC 37 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 G'day All I've just spent a few rainy hours (finally) typing up my "Information for Residents/Owners/Managers" and would appreciate some proof reading/feedback. Do people actually read these? Does it turn people off, or give them confidence? Would customers prefer to remain ignorant of risks and be told "it'll be ok, never had a problem before"? Have I missed anything (apart from "no other contractors/workers on site")? Is it too long and difficult to read? This is not meant to be a contract, just an information sheet, or should it become part of something more? Your time is appreciated instructions.pdf
John Orr 206 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 All good info. Maybe shrink it and print it on the back of your proposals/estimates. This would be great info to have on your website - along with some good before and after photos.
Jim in NJ 64 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 I would change the word "chemical" to "cleaning solution" or "detergent" or something like that. People tend to get scared when they hear the word chemical

Apple Roof Cleaning 202 Report post Posted February 10, 2008 Want MY opinion ? Leave it OFF your stuff. Why ? Too much negative, sell the sizzle, not the steak. In my opinion, people do not want to hear what CAN go wrong, they just want to get their stuff cleaned.
