What exactly is a "hot box"?

Recommended Posts

Hello Rick,

Yes you can get them to handle most any flow you want. We use an Lp stand alone boiler (hot box) and it handles our 10.2 gpm pump very well. It is rated for 980,000 Btu.

The boiler is the red round unit on the left side of this picture.

I was told that an option to a hot water unit is a "hot box" that can heat up supply water to a cold water machine. Can these keep up with 4gpm 4000psi unit?

FYI The water will be heated after the pressure washer. Basically all hot water units have a hot box, the difference being that it is built in rather than seperate.

They have 12v and 120 v. If you get a 12v, make sure you have a charging system to support the battery or you will have problems. If you go 120v, make sure you have a generator that will support the power requirements.
