lynkage 14 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 I am having a problem with my pw. It will not build pressure when using the tank. But if I plug in the hose it works fine. I am wondering if I have a pump problem? I have checked the inline filter and line and everything is clean. any ideas? BTW my machine is a Landa SGHW 3500-6 w/330 gal tank on a trailer. PLD 14 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 Either you have an air leak or need to repack your pump. I would start with the air leak. Check all inbound connections to make 100% sure they are air tight. Next check all the inlets to yoru pump head and make sure they are air tight. That said, my bet is your thermal relief valve has gone bad and is sucking air. Plug the hole with your finger and see if it starts working properly. If so, replace it. If you bypass to tank or spoil to ground, you can use a plug. If you bypass back into the inlet, get a new relief valve.
FullBlast 14 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 What brand of pump is that?? Some pumps are not made to suck, but I'd think one that big would.?.? I had a Landa 5.5 gpm and it worked great pulling from a tank.
