Sure-Flow Setup

Well here is my sureflow set up so far, each tank holds over 6 gallons,

one for britener, one for cleaner/stripper, it will have approx. 200 ft of hose

it's own reel, with plastic wand, so chems dont eat it up, I believe it is 1.8 GPM at 60 PSI, with a marine battery, that will plug into my PW when I need to charge it, so I never have to bring it inside, I have heard this is 10 times faster than using pump-ups to do decks with, so I am looking forward to speeding up the process, this will all be mounted in my van...

Nice set up but a suggestion if you please, return that marine battery for a regular car battery.

Marine batteries are not really made for what we use them for, they are made to be run down.

Just get a deep charge battery. Really, what will happen is that marine battery will die long before its time.

Why not run 110V Shur-flo and skip the battery, since you are all skid mounted anyway?

Also, what kind of and how is your reel set-up for the shur-flo hose? Do you have a bypass to flush your Shur-flo pump with claen water?

Consider that strippers and brighteners are corrosives.

Stainless is OK with strippers, however acids will corrode it.

ive run a marine battery on my skid since it was new 4 year's ago.

i charge it after the winter to be safe but never really had to.

p.s. 12 gal aint much but if it's what you need then great.

Here is my set up I use. Two 20gal tanks for stripper and brightner. I have a third line I run to my water tank to flush out the lines. The top reel is for the set up. 300 feet of hose.

6 gallons covers approx 900 sq ft, and most decks I do arent that big, I always got buy with an Xjet before and that is 2 to 1 ratio, so 6 gallons staright should be plenty for most of my jobs..?

I use a 110 volt Shur-Flo pump off the generator since I run it for lights too.

But since you already have the battery you're stuck with it.

I was just posting what I thought Ron was getting at.

You will love the set up. It's so much faster, just make sure you keep moving. I ran out of stripper one time, I only had 10gals mixed and because it was coming out a lot faster than a pump-up. I had to mix more stripper up at the truck and try to keep the deck wet at the same time.

I keep the 20 gal tanks full from now on.

I got the pump from Envirospec.

The red dolly you see is a set up that came all together. Pump, wand, tank, hose and a place for a battery. I was tired of lugging it around. So I got another tank (Envirospec) and just put it on the black dolly untill I found away to secure the tank.

I think I'm going to keep it on the dolly. It's a lot easer to move the tanks away from the wall when I'm filling them.

i was thinking about housewash more then deck stuff.

Degreaser for flatwork,high volume stuff.

For your use im sure it's fine.

Nothing bad was intended.

I wish someone would come up with a mini roller pump that can handle any type chem and be run with a weed wacker moter.

Rather expensive set up there Alan, that comes out to over $115 per gallon.

I would be stopping and refilling that tank several times per job.

I still like having a 35 gallon tank with 100 feet of hose and a Shur Flo pump to spray it out.

Just take it for the idea and make one yourself, but bigger. Imagine that engine on your big tank. Gotta spend money to make money!!

You wanna try it, I have an old homelite trimmer motor. May work as part of it, but it will drive everyone crazy as you play with the throttle. :vroom: :vroom:

only problem i see about this set-up would be the that it circulate's the mix.

I would need to either never let off the trigger or remove DAWN from my house wash.

Skip the backpack and mount the pump to a 30 gal drum on a handcart.
