Looks like a wash out for work today. Received the "old growth" redwood shipment from Calif. yesterday. You should see this wood, it is gorgeous. Dense, tight grained, with a beautiful color. I'll take and post some pics when I get it up to the job site.

The call was on my business answering machine when I got in late this afternoon. Called Jennifer back and spoke at some length.

Some rain spots and the contractor sounds like he over applied the Cabot's stain. She thinks it is an oil, so told her about turpentine or Wil Bond to get rid of and even out the tacky areas.

Smart gal. Still has half the bill to pay so the contractor should make things right.
