Beth n Rod replied to Ron Musgraves's question in The Club House
I spoke up and now they are focused on blaming me because they don't want to admit they could have copy pasted the banner from the web MONTHS ago. It's a joke. Beth -

I want to go on the record right here and now, I was one of the people Ron asked to send a banner to Carlos after Carlos said he never got it. I not only sent the banner to Carlos, but I had him on the phone and he confirmed by phone that he got it and thanked me for making sure he got it. He DID get it. Thanks guys! I was excited about this job, I love the style of the house on those sides. The rest of the house is very different. Too bad it was not all like the part we worked on. The interior left me cold, very blocky, very stark white. And it was like a maze...lots of space leading to other space. Beth -

Softwash Deck
Beth n Rod replied to sweetwaterfish's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Sodium thiosulphate is a neutralizer for chlorine. Not suitable for this application as the stuff contaminates ground water. Use bleach for killing mildew and algae but use as part of a 3-step program to include a sodium hydroxide based cleaner to remove any remaining coating and then neutralize with citric or oxalic acid. This years round tables far exceeded last year's events, with record numbers of attendees in most all areas, most notably, New Jersey with 40! Many BBS's out there ran threads with information regarding attendance. Folks are planning now for the fall series. To view information on the recent events, surf the BBS's on the Hot Links Page to find photos and information about recent local events and their sponsors. Special thanks goes out to Everett Abrams for his hard work and dedication to making them grow, and to the PWNA for supplying kits to those holding the meetings. These weren't PWNA events and it's wonderful to see the support from our industry organization. Huge thanks go to Jack and the office staff at PWNA headquarters for their efforts. Thanks should also go out to Ron ********** for bringing the concept of the round table meetings to the electronic communites out there. While other informal groups have met in various places, none have been promoted or publicized until Ron began to do this with the round tables online. His efforts year one, made this year, year two, possible. Beth

Masking tools for sealing wood
Beth n Rod posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Thought it would be fun to see what masking tools are most popular. Please chime in on how you mask, and post a pic if you have one. Beth :cup: :groovy3: p.s. please vote...
