  1. How did you like working with that sander? Beth
  2. Propylene Glycol?

    Good morning!!! :sunshine: Beth
  3. There is a really long dwell time associated with removing it. HD-80 will take it at full strength with about an hour of dwell, might be faster if boosted with 633-add. We have stripped that stuff many times. Always be ready to do some amount of sanding, since nothing is 100%. Beth
  4. Networking works!

Networking is a wonderful thing! We can all help each other. Pass what is out of your service area to someone you know in that area. Let's all have a great season! Beth :cup: :sunshine:
  5. advice on purchasing a hot water machine

Delco, they have sent out some flyers on equipment sales they are having. They are the banner at the top of each page. Click on it to find out how to contact them for more information.. Rod!~
  6. advice on purchasing a hot water machine

If you go used, call some of the distributors. Many do resell used equipment, and since they service them you stand a better chance of getting a machine in good working order. Hope this helps. Beth
  7. Prevention Of Disease ?

  8. Connection Hoses On Reel

Consider the direction of your connections if using QC's. Also, make use of the hose bend restrictors to help limit the connection exposure to abrasion which could cause the QC to disengage. If you have a trapped pressure unloader, no way they are coming apart. With a flow type like a K-7, there is a possibility of it but it also depends on the direction of the connection as mentioned earlier. The practice of completely unbailing the hose and positioning it where you need it and where it will follow helps. ex; I unbail it in a 8'-10' serpentine pattern perpendicular to the direction I will be pulling hose so that it feeds well on the ground without tangles and catching on landscape accents ond such. I see you are in NJ. Call Tom & Barbara at ACR Products. They are in PA, and are probably closer than most of the suppliers here. 610-253-8005 Beth

  19. What is this new site everyone is talking about?

Due to a lack of availability (a.k.a. free or spare time) I am going to have to withdraw from the writing team. Writing has always been a passion of mine, something I never grow tired of doing. But I don't want to commit to this and let anyone down who may have expectations that are greater than what I am able to offer. Thank you for thinking of me, and best of luck! Beth
  20. I wouldn't necessarily use it for sanding a deck floor but I have heard of others who have used them for defurring a deck after stripping. Rod!~
  21. Wood Tux and Flamability

Bump! Good reading for spring! Beth
  22. What's in your First Aid Kit?

I don't have the specifics but it (actually they) are for 25 man crews and I have to replace perishable items every year. OSHA requires companies that perform hazardous work to maintain these in the event of an accident. I always hope they never need to be used...here is a link to a similar kit. http://www.labsafety.com/LAB-SAFETY-SUPPLY-Industrial-First-Aid-Kits_s_148882/First-Aid-Kits_24535419/ Rod!~
  23. By-Pass Tank

Good point, that was one that I had with a 3 gallon factory installed tank. Incoming water would cause so much turbulence and induce air bubbles to the point that it would not allow me to wash unless the tank was always full. The problem there was that not all of my customers supply was able to keep up. The 30 gal. tank solved that and more. The one in the pic is mounted on 2" square tubing that is mounted to the top rail of the bed. That is an old pic, now I have also a Decker topper pump and a 200' chem hose reel mounted on it in addition to the 300' supply hose reel. Rod!~
  24. This could be interesting...

The one guy gets on my nerves...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Brotherly love,,,hmpf... Wonder when they are going to put out a single? Rod!~ ps, don't mind me, long day...kinda tired and punchy.
