  7. When your sick

There was the time Rod worked on crutches with his knee in a brace too.... I have been known to work with a sinus infection. I'll get an antibiotic, take it, and move on. I hate days like that. Beth
  8. When your sick

1st year I worked alone and only had the option of hiring a day laborer from a temp agency once in a while. I rescheduled when it was detrimental to my health to do otherwise. The business was young then and now I am fortunate to have crews that do the work most of the time. I had a bad incident where I burned my lungs from exposure to chlorine and was down for a week (had no choice) and since then, I changed the way I do things to avoid that again. Sorry to hear you are down with a respiratory infection. Been there, done that...too many times... My sympathies. Get well! Rod!~
  9. tuff time are here.

Spring has not hit, but it is softer than prior years, more hesitancy, more folks watching what they spend money on. Beth
  10. I think the saddest deck I ever saw was the one painted white, that was redwood underneath and the rail caps were rotting..... Beth
  11. Gee, one guess how I voted! Beth
  12. For me, it's the same thing it has always been, I don't like filing. That may sound silly, but I'm pretty balanced, do have some strengths, but filing is my downfall. When I was in software sales I was always very busy selling and felt that filing took away from my money making time, that and I hated alphabetizing and sorting papers. I did it, but it was my least favorite thing. I cleaned out a folders yesterday as a matter of fact. It was time. Beth

  20. What's in your Tool Box(s)

What about the type of tool boxes out there? Which do you use and what do you like about it? Rod!~
  21. $350 or bust

Considering how things are...I think $350 is much too high for them. The benefits have no teeth. We rejoined last year, but not sure about this year. We have other things on the horizon (*****) and that we belong to already that we feel are better for our business. Best money spent was joining the BBB. If you have not done that, I suggest you do. Beth
