I saw that....the user who posted this needs to come back and tell us more about his site and what he meant by posting - because it really does look like SPAM, but I'm willing to listen to what he says first. Beth -

Grounded too I bet.... Anyone calling you unprofessional needs to look in the magic mirror! "Romper, bomper, stomper, boo. Tell me, tell me, tell me do. Magic mirror, tell me today. Did all my friends have fun at play?" Beth -
Osha Regulations
Beth n Rod replied to Windowcleaningresource.co's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Osha is about safety, as in safely performing work. I'm not sure for a few bird droppings you'll find much, but if you are talking massive amounts of excrement then there may be something - I am pretty sure there is for things like pigeon doo cleanup and such.. It's a hazardous waste right? Beth -

I think Scott S. made his point. Those who have done similar - not pointing a finger because you all know who you are - need to realize we are not stupid and will not tolerate it. Thank you Scott, for your ongoing support. Beth -

Thad, I have heard discussions that there is a concern the levees will not hold again due to being poorly rebuilt. What are you hearing there? Beth -
Your Opinions On Rebuilding New Orleans ?
Beth n Rod replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in The Club House
Nope. How would I know you are a ham radio nut? So what? I agree that evacuation is wise and mandatory evacuation orders should be followed, but many chose not to leave, and many had no way to leave. If someone chose to stay, or had no way to leave, I suppose to you it means that if they suffer as a result it's ok for you to lose all compassion? Because that is how your post read to me. And since the city is below sea level and many of the surrounding town, cities and parrishes suffered devastation as well, well, the hell with all of it? Don't have the Gov't help them? I guarantee you, of it had been your city you would not feel this way. I went through Slidell not 3 months after Katrina, when we visited my Dad at Christmas in his home just 10 miles away. I saw foundations with no homes. I saw demolished boats on dry land, I saw retail buildings ripped in half with their stock strune all over the land. I saw gas stations with pumps ripped up, and I saw homes with the circles and cross pailed on the doors and the numbers in thier quadrants to signify the date and the number of bodies found in the house. Contractor signs littered the land area of median strips and corners and added to the debris from the storm. Trash was everywhere - of every kind. Fema trailers were in driveways people were doing their best to live in them while thier homes were being worked on. In many cases, where a house was built over water the house was gone but there was no place to put a trailer. Beth -

Your Opinions On Rebuilding New Orleans ?
Beth n Rod replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in The Club House
My step brother was a first responder during Katrina. He works for Fish & Wildlife. He and his buddy and co-worker went out in a boat and rescued people from rooftops and took them to the dome where they were supposed to go. They navigated water without knowing what was where, and passed many a dead body. Devastation was all around them. Some that were helped were those who had lived there all their lives, were elderly and had no way to leave or were handicapped. There were real people, good people, friends of my family who lost everything they owned. They were not bums or ghetto people, they were families in the path of a devastating force of nature. Anyone who is God fearing, who is compassionate, and who holds life dear needs to think about this if they react without compassion or with disgust or disdain towards those who suffered and lost friends, family or home. Shame on you! Beth -
Need help with a pavilion type structure
Beth n Rod replied to Ron G.'s question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Since this is bare wood, prewet it first with plain water and then apply a percarb at lower concentration between each support beam to keep the dwell time to a minimum on the ceiling. Wash that section then apply and wash another and so on... I would not choose EFC-38 for the ceiling as it contains stripping agents which will assuredly cause fuzzing. As for the tables and such, EFC-38 would be great because it will help to get rid of some of the stains embedded from food and drinks. A light bleach mixture after the wash on wet wood will help with some of the kool-aid type stains and more but follow with a complete rinse and then neutralize. Rod!~ -
An option for those struggling......
Beth n Rod replied to 814jeffw's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I will add that in the cases where we do brush an entire house, it is for the purpose of removing oxidation from aluminum siding. We get a premium for this service which I will elude is quite higher than most will charge...but it is clean. Otherwise, a brush is used to get the stains that need agitation such as aluminum oxidation from below capped window frames and egg shots by vandals for example. Jeff, you may not have wanted a debate but in this world of opinions and other experiences, people will do it anyway as you can see. Don't worry though, your method is not status quo as most have moved on from brushing and using telescoping wands as cleaning chems have improved over the past few years. Being old fashioned is not a bad thing, it is just something most are not willing to revert to because of the demand they are trying to meet. Rod!~ -
