  1. We have used an m-5 to apply percarbonate. Problem is strength of product. You have to mix it with warm water and at 10oz/gal to get 3oz/gal on the surface with the 3:1 dilution ratio of the m-5 Unfortunately, you can't mix it any stronger due to the saturation level of water. The rest will precipitate and go to waste. For cleaning purposes, it should be enough to avoid problems with the coating. Rod!~
  2. From time to time we have homeowners who ask us to replace floor boards, spindles, rail caps, steps, lattice and so forth on decks. In our many years of doing this, we have never seen new wood look like old wood after installation. We have never had new wood accept a stain at the same rate of absorption as older wood does. In our experience you can always tell the difference. What has your experience been on PT deck with wood say 12-15 year apart in age? What do you consider a normal result? Beth

  8. extension pole

Light weight aluminum poles are best, and soft bristled truck washing brushes are great. Tim's right about the eye wear and keeping your mouth shut. The snacks could be gross. Beth :cup:
  9. That unit is a cold water unit. And the unloader is not the same as it is on commercial units....and there are some other things. It's a good around the house unit if you are just a home owner who wants a good tool in the garage, it's a good entry level unit you can get a commercial grade unit if you are thinking of getting into the trade and then I would say keep is as a backup or second gun.
