  8. Tucker, Go to the vendor area and read the vendor rules. Thank you. Beth
  9. Therma Tru door and a Lawyer

I agree with Tim. Take the high road. Keep the client happy. People share stories of misery more often than stories of good experiences when it comes to people/companies they hire. You don't want to be on the negative chatter line.... Beth

  11. Agreed! +1 As for the initial question of this thread. It depends on the product as to which can be altered or augmented successfully with mineral spirits. Some products specify on the label to not thin with mineral spirits. Others are hybrids that won't allow the combination. If you want a faster drying product, add japan drier to your oil based product. Rod!~
  12. Percarbonates and sodium hydroxide based cleaners will work well and the latter can be neutralized afterwards with citric acid based brighteners. Rod!~
  13. This thread....is supposed to be about removing Sikkens Cetol DEK product....correct? Beth
  14. The chlorine from the pool would cause a significant problem with the composite as well as void any warranty. Ipe would fare better and while you could oil it with a drying oil product, you could also leave it bare and let it patina and only wash it every 2-3 years as necessary to remove mildew and algae growth which will surely grow on it next to a pool. Rod!~
