  1. Wet vacuum pump-out problems

Hey Jerry, John is in Australia. I think he's more afraid of the freight bill than yours. :-)

  3. Rules are Rules

It's clear that you think you don't have to conform to the rules because you're Muslim...
  4. Removing a stuck pump.

    ...but not nearly as effective.
  5. Removing a stuck pump.

There is a setscrew on the pump gear, not on the engine. The gearbox to engine is a slide on connection. Get 2 large screwdrivers or pry bars and get them between the gearbox and the engine on opposite sides. Manipulate both of them at the same time to give an even pulling action. Hopefully that will do it, otherwise you're going to have to tear up some stuff to save other parts.
  6. The pressure switch will be fine where it is. When the unloader kicks out, the pump goes to zero pressure. Get rid of that strainer, though. That is one of the most restrictive for suction applications. Get a 3/4" Y strainer, a 3/4" X 1/2" reducer nipple, and a 3/4" hose barb for your inlet.
  7. The burner control should work the same whether you bypass to the pump, tank, or on the ground.
  8. Hydrotek Pressure Washer

Firstly, are you positive that you have the correct tip in the gun? Here's the breakdown for your machine... http://www.hydrotek.us/expviews/HD%20DIRECT%20DRIVE.pdf Item 13 is the switch responsible for starting the machine. I'd take the hose off the barb (14), check for good flow. Next, unscrew the cap on the flow switch (13) and check the piston inside for ease of movement. It may be jammed up, impeding flow. If everything looks okay there, the next check would be the injector on the pump outlet.
  9. Hydrotek Pressure Washer

Sounds like you need to find a better water source.

  17. AR Direct Drive 5.5 GPM Pump

Is that a 4SF Cat? Those pumps are wonderful...but very costly now.
  18. water in pump oil?

Had you run the machine right before the oil change? Oil will froth some (even non-detergent), but should clarify after sitting for a little while. If it wasn't "creamy" looking, then it's doubtful it contained any water.
  19. Propane soot on aluminum siding

A propane heater should not produce combustion byproducts. Could be the heat discolored the paint, in which case, there is nothing to be done.
  20. QC's when? Where? How? Who? Why?

I've had customers bring them to me after they've broken off. I've never actually witnessed it.
  21. QC's when? Where? How? Who? Why?

I prefer the 22 mm twist couplers between the wand and gun. There's a lot more surface area to take the "wobble" that hanging a 4' piece of pipe off a gun will cause. The groove that the balls lock into on regular quick couplers are fairly thin, and many times snap off in the groove.
  22. Call me...it'll be less...quite a bit less.
