I believe it would be one in the same, both have no great benifit except what you can make work. keep in mind your competition may already be promoting one. use that one since customers will be familiar.

believe me joining the right ones can help, Grant turned me on to the restaraunt org local here in phx and its the best money ever spent. BOMA's marketing has done nothing but put green money in my pocket. As silly as it sounds they want to see you supporting your industry. many of the applications have you list your industry orgs you support. pretty silly filling one of those out and have your profile read (NONE)

Seems it would be a great forum for those in business with there other half. I how ever do not involve my wife in the business, she does her thing and I do mine. I can see this would be a great forum for those who are really running the business with spouse.

I will leave the religion on this alone; I simple don’t believe it’s a religious problem. Humanity may be a fundamental religious belief, I hold this close and deep with in myself and don’t rely on anyone else or belief to make this happen. People are people and I will not be a hypocrite. My grandfather was and immigrant in a time when it was possible. We simple need to allow people to prosper. We talk about nothing being made here is because we allow big brother to brain wash us. I chuckle when I saw the post that suggest Americans are taking advantage of illegal workers. The governments US and MEXICO are sweat shopping Mexico. It’s that simple, stop buying into this. I’m never of the popular opinion; I welcome immigrants from all nations. None of us would be here if had not. I live in a Mexican territory and was owner by natives. My four fathers came to this country seeking freedom from the queen. I hold the constitutions high, our current government has changed the laws and now a nation that we suppress for cheap labor is crying out. We have been moving jobs south of the border for the last 20 years. Ford large block motors have been being cast in Mexico since 1954. Average daily wage over the last 50 years is 17 dollars a week. Currently it’s a whole 40. If I where a Mexican national I would be pissed too. It surprises me that people make a race issue. White people……… These are humans with family’s seeking opportunity in the biggest most powerful free nation on the planet. If I lived in Mexico and the US would not let me in? I would get here some how. Legal or illegally it wouldn’t make a difference. When immigrants come here they do not hurt the economy. That big brother crap….each person needs a car and a house TV, VCR, DVD and game boy. GNP is what make the economy move and grow. I think we are loosing compassion due to way to much government propaganda. Let’s see if the three serial killers are white, Black or Hispanic. (What will it really mean???????) That someone human is a nut bag. People need to look at the immigration laws. They need reform so that we allow other nations to come to the US with reasonable opportunity. Income taxes are being paid by companies hiring. The benefits programs are not and the insurance is being compromised. Other than that the government misses the fica and unemployment. There is and issue with social programs, that existed since the beginning of the nation. FDR introduce the WPA during the depression so people didn’t have to stand in soup lines and men could feed there families and not be shamed. Immigrations laws are very different. Over the last 30 years we have made it practically impossible to migrant to the US. Literally it’s difficult for a US citizen that wants to marry a national. No longer are they granted amnesty just because you’re a natural born citizen. We no longer allow people to apply for entry just based on becoming a citizen. We have even stopped migrant work visas. Only if your trade is not able to be found in the US you can enter legally. Don’t confuse visa with legal resident status. I don’t want to hear you tell me about your cousin that goes to a university from Africa or Iran. They have visas to study in this country and when they expire if they do not leave they are illegal also. Not everyone swims across the Rio Grande. Many of these illegal family’s have millions of dollars. None the less these are people just like my grandfather that decided to come to this country for and opportunity. Immigrants have always been a problem legal or illegal it’s difficult to leave your family behind for an opportunity at better life. People are people and ignorance is what the government relies on. The real problem is the laws. Reform these laws; our leaders in the beginning made this a land for opportunity. Let’s keep it that way, no matter what color we may become. The only humans that should be complaining are the ones we took it from, NATIVES WHAT IS A MEXICAN? Are they not descendants of the native and Spanish. OPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSS

Thats funny, my truck got stolen two days ago. f350 powerstroke crew I feel just like you, i have not even figured all i have lost yet. every hour goes by i say shoot that was in my truck. I had three trucks stolen so I have felt this way before and still didnt learn all my lessons. I didnt have my keys in the truck, thank god. I'm pissed about loosing 1000 bucks worth of movie passes. I just had collected that day, I would have removed them from the truck because getting broke into happens all the time. Ford couldnt tell me how far they could go with the anti fuel shut off. If i replace that truck i will get a GPS unit. I have them on work trucks and now i feel stupid my most valuable truck didnt have one. My insurance guy questioned this like i was a thief. I guess it looks suspicous.

each guy can do about 28 to 35 g's a nite. I have 23 people, I have 5 sub contractors and one guy that just does shopping centers. (he does not work exclusive for me) I can give anyone a reference with in a 1/4 mile of there location. If i cannot i will do there location free. Scott Stone has been to lunch with my sales people, subs and office gals in the past. Scott occasionally comes by my house. I have had round tables in the past and Jon from oasis has also visited and met my staff. all my competitors know my yellow equipment & old ford trucks. I also rent machines to the local dealer and industry. 185 per night or 825.00 per week.. water jets 30 a day. I have 5 rentals but usally 3 are always rented.

Every day & night, about a half million ft. or more. sorry matt, dont do any homes except new construction. mostly large custom homes. Its really just the same as one just your doing them all at once or as fast as you can. Logistics can be a factor.

Jim, I did a few of those a few years back. Alot of neighborhood projects for elderly also. We did a boys home once for them also. You can do a straight charity project also, I choose to piggy back my customers projects. I help people and my customers, many of my PMS do things for children organizations. Its often a lot of fun meeting the kids and sharing your trade with others.

Most commercial kitchens are being built with urethane grout. Older units have this old style cheap sand grout and it doesn’t last in my own house under normal conditions. We clean a dairy that replaced the urethane after 10 years and let me tell you it was tough. Dairies use ammonia and acids to clean. Yes they mix them; I realize this make deadly gas. The stacks are a few hundred feet high. I have never been present when sterilization is being done that I’m aware of. This was one of the original installs for this urethane grout. I have been doing commercial interiors for about 15 years. Most major chains Outback Corp., Darden, Brinker & Yum are installing this and replacing old with the urethane by Dupont.

Get focused and open your wallet. Make a plan and stick with it. You’re going to need to spend money on advertisements. Get some note pads and maybe pens, print some hats for new construction people. Start measuring shopping centers and just sending in proposals not requested. If you want to call me I have a method that works. It’s a saving of money if you have the time. This is the cheapest form of marketing and has saved me many dollars. I disagree with some here, explode and jump right in. You need to eat so do what you have too. However remember what the main goals are and then achieve them. You’ll be turning jobs you don’t want away in one year.

I hate to say it, you folks that pay high salarys are getting hammered in tax. or paying more than you need too. I did it for years, now i pay very little and still have income. you can also distribute salary to spouse leagally. if your spending and reinvesting money you can also save dollars. you guys in FL have no state income taxes, thats great. those bonuses are often 27% to 49%, thats silly. if your not paying it then if you ever get audited your not going to like the bill.
