I believe most people are looking for some answers to life after death. Especially when elderly people get to the point they may pass. It’s a shame that some are taken advantage of and that people use them to exploit. Organized religion can be good if people keep in mind that the people running the churches are not GODS. They are just men and women with all the same weaknesses that most all of us have. Therefore they will make mistakes and there lives will have lows and highs. Although we have seen these men repent one to many times. Everyone forgets and forgives, the money will not stop coming. People believe in the greater cause and that it’s not about there people. What if the clergy was not paid, what if they took care of themselves and where expected to feed themselves and serve the parish also?

Cemetery Head Stone Cleaning
Ron Musgraves replied to CHUCK's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Just a tip if you are doing hundreds. DI water on polished stone is a must. Different stone may require alternate chemicals. -
My best friend’s partner just embezzled 365,000 this year. Wrote checks to suppliers and actually cashed them himself. Criminals are stupid, when did he think this one would be over. How about when the balance sheet didn’t match up? I would stay out of partnerships. I would contract or have limited partnerships. Possible pre negotiate a falling out agreement? If things don’t work have pre-breaking up clause in your partnership.

Scott, That’s classy to talk so highly of two guys that obviously helped you. I have always found meeting with others in person is much better than the internet. Face to face is a great networking. To bad we cannot do this more often and really get to know each other and understand. Way to go Pete and Don for being such nice guys. Good Luck in your future endeavors Scott, I’m sure your going to harness some of that knowledge and put it to work.

Do these products hurt us as contractors.
Ron Musgraves replied to Mathew Johnson's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I don’t think it has any effect. People that dyi will and those who would rather be sitting in a chair watching a ball game will hire. Either way its marketing for all. -

I recently made and error in only shopping at one place. Now they have increased pricing and don’t care about the volume I spend because compared to most I’m just a little guy. Have many avenues and always order from the other guys occasionally even if there prices are no good.

I could agree if we where talking about residential work its limited to a season. It would heavily depend on ones bank roll. If you start this business with 2 dollars then you’re probably in trouble. If you have money to invest in a great marketing campaign then you’re going to increase your customer base a lot faster. I have subs I have increase there revenue in three week as much as 8000.00 a month each and every month. Of course my relationship with my customers over the 20 years helps speed that process up. I still think someone starting out can make more than 30k a year in there first year. The reality is what is the initial cost to run a company in the first year and are you will to sacrifice loosing money on the investment to reach higher expectations for the long haul. -
Did you get it Sam????

Bob and i are suspect of the same thing, sun has taken protective coating off. Is it cheaper to replace coating to protect and have siding luster again? or replace it? Try a turtle wax product, the kind you ad to your soap. spray it on and rinse, see what happens.

that would help for sure....
