    Standard for these prebuilt systems I'm sure, but it's still a huge premium for something that can be done way cheaper. Maybe $500 total you could have enough to wash fleets with DI water. What he has there is like a filter you hook to the kitchen sink. I'm talking about something you can fill your tanks with and make hundreds of gallons of water in very short order, for way less.

    I'm saying, I could build a system with 10x the capacity and flow for a fourth of the price. Then you can pay a small fee and have it recharged for you a dozen times before you ever came close to his price. It just makes me sick to see people constantly trying to fleece business owners with such insane pricing.

    I was a level II regen tech for one of the largest water filtration companies on the planet, and we supplied everything from filtration for mobile washers who needed DI water, to dialysis clinics that needed ultra pure water to help filter waste for people with kidney problems. We also had massive mobile units that filtered hundreds of thousands of gallons of water for things like power plants, where again the water had to be ultra pure and have very low silica because it was used to cool turbines that generate electricity.

    I know what's capable with water filtration, and at what cost. The price of something like this makes my stomach turn. You could buy a brand new 8gpm rig for that kind of money!

    We had the BBQ last time. Lots of great fellows showed up. I think one or two asked about you.

    No bickering here, only helping contractors , I have no time for silly arguments. We just get it done , this MN thing I do not know where it's headed yet because we really have issue with real enforcement yet to see what direction they are going.

    When most things don't affect others we often don't care.

    Jim a few guys are Talking here about the emissions, if you cannot add or give any updates for others thats cool.

    Why your getting upset I have no clue, nothing here was said derogatory towards you or anyone else.

    Threatening to report threads? anyone who reads this will see the stated facts and references this is real issues the industry is having.

    Jim if you do not want to be in the professional Conversation then please refrain from it.

    These are things as industry leaders we all should know and understand, I will look into the emissions update to find out when the 2014 grandfather will either end or has been resolved. I just have not kept up with it, I was told by the manufacture my equipment is not compliant a year ago.

    Since our move into california is small i have not followed up.

    CARB Pressure Washer Compliance | Pressure Washer Blog

    This is a Blog from Hydrotek about the emissions issue, I believe CETA who's event your attending oct is currently dealing with this. I think its a Major Issue, I'm surprised your not aware of the situation. I suppose it would be better to start another thread instead of discussing here.

    I know that CETA has been fighting the ISsue for Manufactures for sometime now.

    I have been Told My units are not complient in the state of california without the Permit. I'm not saying this is fact about permits, just was told about this on a visit to Hydrotek.

    Jim no one is Fishing, just carrying on a professional conversation. I can refrain from conversation with you all together if you prefer?

    Jim your a representative of my national Association in the pressure washing industry, if members an non members cannot ask you question that pertain to the conversation and not be accused constantly of some other motives it serves no purpose to even talk about it.

    I will not be combative with you Jim, if you want to ask question I appreciate them. I'll respectfully always give the honest best answer I can give FYI.

    No new approach here. Been saying this on these BBS since 2008 and Robert eariler than that. You are aware of that so there is Nothing new here.

    You're just being you and are running with it... thats all.

    Please do not make it sound like I or Robert are following your lead. That's how mis-information can start and we both do not want that to happen.

    Jim , you not following my lead. I certainly do not want to follow yours or Robert. I do not pollute, there's nothing in my cleaning process that creates pollution. I reduce contaminates from ever getting into the ms4 prior to any rain event.

    For the guys who wash into the ms4 and dump into public systems you and Robert might be helping them.

    It's just different aspects of washing, you handle a lot of waste. I simple do not create waste, maybe your process does? I do not enter jurisdictions of storm water authority at local levels. Someone like yourself who does needs to have your proper waste hauling and pollution control efforts in place. The sludge that your customers build I consider reckless compared to my process. More frequent cost officiate methods are just my choices as and environmental cleaner. Your video of sludge and 1000's gallon of waste water are something that I show all clients they can simply avoid.

    Jim zadril taught me many years ago , he is most likely one of the oldest garage cleaners in the industry. He is located in Los Angeles. I see a huge difference in Los Angeles parking garages compared to many places around the country.

    While my main focus is sidewalks I will not take a garage that will not clean responsibly.

    I've been able to prove most cleaner who profess reclaim filtering are not actually doing what they say.

    The others will claim they dump in ridiculous places.

    You and Robert keep up the good work, there are guys out there policing. They need help and guidance to handle the pollution.

    I've asked you this before Jim , what's going to happen with the 2014 emission issue coming around the corner? Are you machine compliment with code now? Just curious

    The problem is when these these things are taken lightly, and you think oh this won;t happen here, and then all of sudden you have a Houston on your hands. Stay in touch, get to know your LOCAL authorities, and the ones that interpret and enforce. You will find that all they need is education, the right education, and they will listen to you. Help them help you.

    It's really that easy. Make sure these people your the solution not the problem.
