  2. The two Lands dealers I have spoken to were not helpful at all. A dealer near by recommend a Karcher shark series. I am getting this installed in an E350 extended van. My other option was a Hot and Mighty. There may be others and I am happy to hear them, I plan on going KEC, and residential (house wash, roof wash, driveways) When I find my niche I will specialize & focus in that one area. I am ready to buy and want to get the right machine. Thanks
  3. Not a good idea. You will get burned. If the deal falls through or the seller changes their mind you just did a free job. If they are to strapped to pay then I would pass.
  4. Use cascade dishwasher rence. It works great on glass
  5. Hot and Mighty

I am trying to keep the van in the full size cargo van category. (For a number of reasons the main reason is parking.) I can sacrifice the extra room a box truck affords, I used to have a carpet cleaning van that was always packed to capacity, I had a truck mount, giant hose reel and two water tanks. I will be targeting residential for house and roof & driveways, and small commercial work. Will probably venture in to KEC at some point. My other machine I was looking at was the Landa PGDC with a wheel kit and run it from the van and remove if necessary.
  6. Hot And Mighty Mobile Cleaning Systems Considering this unit for installation in a E350 (smaller tank) what do you think? Seems like a solid unit and I am impressed with the pre-sale customer service. I visited two local distributors for a large name brand and they are pretty much unresponsive to email and phone calls.
  7. The E350 is rated for 4100lb cargo. Don't plan on running with full tanks unless I am going somewhere where it is needed. I am pretty sold on the Landa's at this point.
  8. Yes I am leaning heavily towards Landa. We have a dealer near by. I was thinking skid mount but I am kinda leaning on a wheeled unit Landa PGDC5-35224E. I will run it from the van and pull it if necessary. Will probably be running out of my E-350 cargo van with a 325 gal water tank.
  9. Is there a site that I can find side by side comparisons ans specs for the major commercial grade power washers? If not then I am making one to figure out which machine to get. Looking at Landa, Hydro Tech, Hot-n-mighty and Pressure Tek.
  10. Anyone ever install a skid mount with heat in a full size E-350 cargo van? The only issue I see so far is the height clearance. Most vans are 48" height. Most skid mounts are a little over that. I am sure someone makes a lower profile machine? I am nit interested in the trailer option. If this won't work I will get a box truck.
  11. I looked at the Landa today. Very nice machine and there is a distributer near by. Pressure Pro doesn't have much on their web site.
  12. I owned and operated a highly successful carpet cleaning business which I sold 3 years ago. After some market research for my area I have decided to get in to Power washing. I plan on buying a used 14' Box truck and installing a PW, water tank etc. Here is my question What company or companies are known for their reliable equip and service. (I would like to buy the right machine the first time) and what model should I get. I want good heat and the ability to duel wand. gas or diesel? What machine would you get, Looking at Landa machines and Purdell machines Thanks
