The Breezeā¢ Brush Pressure test @ 150 psi.
Adrian posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Don't laugh at my Deckster. 150 psi on the gauge ( barely readable ) Making you woodies the toughest design possible. Not that you would ever want to go that high, but it works just as well at 45-50 psi. Taking orders....... You got my number http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj_f6CUvVX8 -
A new head design, Model 4000
Adrian replied to Adrian's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I have done all of my testing on wood only. Also I have only used oil based stains in my testing. I would love this idea to advance to other applications as well. -
A new head design, Model 4000
Adrian replied to Adrian's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Rick, With this current design, you will be able to switch to the head of your choice. Replacement time will be about 5 minutes to switch heads. No need to even disconnect the supply line when replacing the head. Simply remove two screws that secure the manifold to the head and re-attach to the new head, in your case the china bristle. Just make sure that pilot holes are drilled into the new head, and check the alignment before securing, to avoid potential overspray. That's the beauty I am striving for in this. Every part will be easily replaceable without re-purchasing the entire assembly. I had ALOT of help with the redesign from Bob, who knows alot mopre about re-engineering than I do. He turned me onto a brush that so far has performed much better than any other in my trials. I have not used this one enough to know how long it last' before replacing. I can say that with the spraytips mounted externally, the brush does not hold needless amounts of stain in the bristles. Plus the head is much easier to clean. It is so fast it's crazy. -

I'll sell ya 2 of them Doug, but only if you get your stain from Shane. Kidding, I might be able to drudge up a spare unit for you to use. Just let me know when you want to "review my product", and we'll get one in your hands. -

So am I going through that Mid Life thing ....
Adrian replied to Jim Gamble's question in The Club House
Audi's rule, Jim. We have a Q5 model. Simply unreal. There's other modes of getting around too, for mid life crisis, I always suggest something with wings. lol. -

Fun with cedar shakes
Adrian replied to RPetry's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Saaaweeeet Rick. As always. you do great work. The deck should "weather out" over the winter, right. Is it PT pine? Will the tone look the same as the house or will you have to make a blend to match? Awesome work. ..... you guru !!!! -

Best way to mount two pumps to one engine
Adrian replied to John.Harper's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
There is a contractor in my area that has this type of setup on a flatbed run with a 4 cylinder subaru engine. It's actually really cool the way he has it set up. -
I'm certifiable.

Rick, you're the man. Congrats on a great season. -
What about Pulley/belt kits with slides for the engine instead of gearboxes?
Adrian replied to Christopher's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Maybe you should take it to the next level chris. Another extention of your business?????? If it needs to be done and others would benefit from your knowledge of the design, you should be the one to design and market it. Just a thought. -
Smoking. Who has succeeded and how. What worked best other than the desire to stick it out?

Matthew is right about the mix and the signature. Welcome to TGS. Heated Dihydrogen Monoxide is the way to go with the red clay if that's the case. 12% mix is better, but 6 straight will eventually cut through in most cases. That is, if the "nasty stuff" you mentioned is algae and mold and mud resi from the flooding. Be sure to wear respirators if it is as thick as you say. Don't want that crud in your lungs.
