I would expect the failure rate of part-timers would be greater. Sort of like sticking your toe in the water and deciding it is just to cold right now.

Spilled SH in my boot. Also, my helper did the same thing. Vinegar is the fix, but you will still ha e wet socks. :) Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

There are not bad jobs; just a bad price
WashMe replied to Douglas Hicks's topic in Business Topics & Tips
Good quote. I feel bad sometimes if I make over $300 per hour, but I think about those crappy days when I have to clean out the truck for free. Then I go to the bank. ;-) Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 -

Full timers have more skin in the game. Part timers who subsidize prices with their day job only hurt the industry. It depends on the person in reality, their discipline and dedication to running a great business. Part timers who are doing well wont be part-timers very long. A real job can't do anything a successful power washing business can't. That's my opinion, thanks for asking. ;) Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

Drive way possible old sealer failure?!?!?!
WashMe replied to Charles G.'s question in Residential Pressure Washing
I'll do it -
Some of the gear drive units have to be separated at the gearbox. Then you would remove each half, one from the engine and the other from the pump.

I just washed off the gutter paint on sunny side of house after trying a new house wash mix. I can't. Wait to try that again.... -
I use a 3/8 hose form TSC or Home Depot, But I have considered using 1/2. I did use a garden hose but it was too heavy and too much chemical in lines when finished. So to save time of rinsing and to make it easier going up and down the ladder I went to 3/8. I tried a 1/2 garden hose, but it was cheap and burst. TSC has the 1/2 but I would prefer to have hose that doesn't leave marks on the gutters. The 3/8 I found is non-marking. I havent yet seen a 1/2 that is non-marking.
